In my city, we had to vote for the CA school bond and a local school bond of ~$500M. I wonder how many people chose the local over the state one.
These kinds of questions do not belong on the ballot. California is crazy asking voters these questions. I'm informed and have no idea what this stuff is.
I voted for the initiative but...I'm not surprised it isn't doing well because there was very little organized support for it. I'm a registered Dem voter w/public school kids, but I never got any mailers or social media notices about the measure.
I’m demoralized by this But not about Medicare For All as much. At this point at least people know what that is and it polls well I just doubt most people understood what Prop 13 was, or even what a bond is
