School closings, traditionally have exactly zero, or close to it,to do with public cuts, unlike other services, bc of how school funding is handled (largely student attendance driven). Oakland had more charter schools open. So traditional public schools close.

And thats inequitable when SF's revenue is powered by an out of county workforce. If you work in SF but live outside of it, unlike most other metro areas, you wont see returned county investment. That "city and county" thing is very inequitable for the rest of the Bay Area.
