Kim, it does. 30,000 units are currently approved but it's too expensive to build given all the fees & requirements by the city. From what I understand, the supes knew that the BMR requirements would make the projects unfeasible - but, political will won out.

Most of those units are in places like TI, Hunters Point, etc. that will take decades to do.... people who cite that number are doing so in bad faith.
