Agreed. Among many other things (like simply being delicious), Reem's was also crucial in leading how to talk about food as activism, restaurants as statements, etc.

Would add Belotti, Homeroom and Oakland’s Korean restaurant scene should be represented, personally I like Gogi Time but there are lots of great options.
