The marshland can be raised in elevation. There’s no way we’re going to replace our urban districts with transition zones for marshes. In a few exceptional locations - maybe. But unless public trust doctrine changes the game, urban is going to stay urban.

And I agree that we need to marshland. I’m just willing to build it up- in perpetuity, until sea levels stop rising. Some people think we’ll let it roll inland, but tides would then interact w polluted soil and old pavement. Not good habitat. This is a LARGE SCALE problem.
