We need the Urban Forest, just not eucalyptus. And it's not that oak doesn't burn, it just doesn't create the firestorms. So frustrating.

It would take a lot of work to return eucalyptus areas to native (fire-adapted, yes, but less explosive and miss manageable) vegetation and then we would still have the urban forest. The work is worthwhile.
