The tragic point is that video of the attack is the differentiator. Had there not been cctv video of the condo attack, not a single news outlet would have picked it up. I fear that had there been video of that ghastly murder the local news outlets would have been all over it ...

Unfortunately, you're spot on correct. There's an inherent empathy gap when a homeless person dies in the streets, no matter who they are, that doesn't seem to happen when someone is specifically targeted because of who they are.pic.twitter.com/n4JCbQap44
