So many initiatives quite clearly screwing things up long after voters lost interest in the topic, and I wonder: at what point can we pitch voters on a reset button? For example an initiative requiring *all* initiatives to sunset after 10 years w/o another vote in favor.

I don’t know what the numbers are on this (as in how many ballot measure changes to the budget this applies to) but I believe a sizable amount of the voter initiated budget set asides are through city charter amendments. Sunsets on ballot props would be perfect for budget changes
