Come on Kim. I consider you a friend and you’re smarter (and nicer!) than this. You know Michael is not advocating for imperialism. Is it possible there are other options besides imperialism and endless invasions for democracy? That’s all.

The current test to redefine national boundaries relies solely on civil war where lots of people die. Sudan, Bosnia, Somalia suffered greatly because of the rigidity of the nation state structure. In comparison, Crimea looked orderly.
