Only in SF do they shoot down a grocery store 'cause it doesn't build enough additional housing, then welcome one that doesn't build any at all! Zoning only allowed very small number of units which is why I assumed they’d push for upzoning- - if serious about housing.

Yeah I’m sure y’all got the memo but others didn’t: San Francisco’s laws actually make it crazy difficult to build housing. And the current Board of Supervisors prefers it that way.
