It's so very scary that California may change course from housing to shelters. This also validates the lack of public and political support for housing homeless people. The sector does little to nothing to educate the public. Will this be a wake-up call?

The older generation of voters isn't a monolith when it comes to housing. Many of the people living in RVs or other makeshift homes -- or none -- are Boomers or older. Have you read Nomadland by

Homevoters as distinguished from older tenants. But it’s the older homevoters that have political power throughout the state.
