It turns out that she just sold one of the at least three houses that she owns in SF. Bought for $440K, listed for $1.8M. Now in contingency. even if you took the 1BR at 1/3 of the total price at $600K and had 20% down, you'd need a $150K/year income to pay that mortgage.
