Or the employee unrest over military contracting. Or AB5 and the current debate over what a post-Dynamex employee/contractor test will be. The tensions/criticism, as uncomfortable as it may seem for all parties, is the Bay Area/CA expressing its values onto industry.

Not true. The conditions of this current crises are uniquely San Francisco, but completely hypocritical due to the self-image. Shocking to me anyone can use the word progressive within fifty miles of SF. My socialist grandfather would be appalled.
