You’re not from SF. You don’t know our situation. This isn’t a market rate developer promising a sliver of BMR housing. These are decades-old non profit developers that are well known in the region for executing projects.

Ah, I see they’re not-for-profits. But why is turning over the ownership of the land so important to this deal? Why can’t the government leasehold it instead? I’m of the mind we need to be extra critical of selling off govt-owned land. It’s the one resource you can’t make more of
