What’s sad is that the concept is actually really cool—fostering intergenerational friendship, promoting lifelong learning, are all good things. Just shouldn’t be this unfair.
This *is* really cool! We should have a lifelong learning system where people can go back instead of front-loading it into four years.... but I the price discrepancy... is just... not a good look.

Is the problem that some boomers are getting an amazing deal or that the entire US college industrial complex is literally ruining a generation financially? This feels a bit like "Hey he is taking your cookie..."
Do students know that this program exists? I would be livid if I was a current student. Hell, I’m livid and and I’ve been out of school for 17 years!
People should have affordable, if not free, access to higher education and skills training at every single point in life.
Many states and colleges offer low cost or free classes to senior citizens. This isn’t a new thing. Feel free to complain about the absolutely heinous cost of college these days, but I don’t think this should be made into a battle of generations thing, please.

I love that they get to go for $10 a credit. But if they can engineer that for the Boomers, how is it 1000x more expensive for 20 somethings for the exact same product?
