Ok. Just has seemed like big fires didn’t hit until October and figured the rain this week might push it further out. But readily admit I am still a CA newbie...

They can start earlier, like June. But October is peak season with the northerly winds. Only ends when the first rains come. If they come late, as they have for the last couple years in December, can be super destructive.
