I'm honestly annoyed that these stories are coming out now because we had *years* to plan for this and instead of doing anything,
@sfbos made it more complicated to create new housing just as construction costs rose to the most expensive in the country instead of going faster.7 replies 14 retweets 183 likes -

Since Lee, the District 3 legislative aide, deleted his tweets arguing that SF is doing a good job at affordable housing, I will just append my tweets here:https://twitter.com/kimmaicutler/status/1119320461806948352 …

SF has *not* borne the housing burden for the region. SF literally just approved a plan in SOMA for 32,000 jobs and only 8,800 homes. https://sf.curbed.com/2018/12/6/18129074/central-soma-plan-housing-development-growth …1 reply 1 retweet 18 likes -

Then he tried to gaslight the East Bay, which SF always does even when the city approves plans for 4X as many jobs as housing units, thereby choosing to fuel more displacement and gentrification in Oakland:https://twitter.com/kimmaicutler/status/1119322368864768000 …

So feel free to gaslight the city that went through a terrible foreclosure crisis and unlike SF, doesn't have large scale business HQs that help the city run in place against its unfunded pension liabilities.2 replies 0 retweets 21 likes -
Wow, Kim-Mai. The only reason I deleted is because I forgot about the "mute" function. This is Exhibit A why I've extremely toned down my interactions on this platform and focused instead on the actual work.
