Two data points stick out while reviewing upcoming Land Use & Transp Committee agendas: in the same period that District 11 has added just 11 new units of housing (?!), 398 homes have been removed from affordable or rent controlled status by demolition or speculative eviction.

Well, one of those stats was in the context of a pending development of 116 new homes at 50% BMR. More than 10x the amount of housing that has been built in D11 in 10 years (gasp!)
