San Francisco contractors hires felons and drug addicts as the Frontline people in shelters. The city is blocking monitoring of the navigation centers or hiring standards .

This concern is coming from several people. And the scenes outside the shelters and Navigation Centers support it. What are the monitoring rules

In part San Francisco Administrative Code 20.400 but with the navigation centers they throw that all out even though it's in their contracts PS do a foia to have them produce documents SF monitor navigation centers sounds like another court case getting those documents

that was mentioned before somewhere that the attorney is currently issuing FIOA/sunshine ordinance requests for documents. Hopefully they aren't all redacted :P

Send those requests to the shelter monitoring committee , homeless Coordinating Board and Jeff you'll basically get a clear image of obstruction and stonewalling

Are the LHC board members get paid? If so, no conflict of interest was disclosed by Local Homeless Coordinating Board Members: Del Seymour, Ralph Payton, Andrea Evans, Kelly

Is it paid? No, it’s unpaid public service.

If you’d like to spend hours/years in public hearings and meetings because you were appointed by a long now since dead mayor Ed Lee, who grew up in public housing, to realize that yes, SF, dramatically under provides beds relative to other American metros

despite having a similar per capita homelessness rate, you too are free to attend these meetings, learn more and meet service providers who work on everything from prenatal to veteran homelessness programs

Twitter is a wrong platform to debate, so one day I may actually attend as I fail to understand how with so much money spent on the problem, SF can't seem to even make a dent in the numbers. And please don't say "housing".
