How about we increase commercial impact fees to fund housing while also restricting commercial office growth?

I jest, but the sad thing is that while the solutions to the housing crisis are fairly straightforward (more supply, more affordable, near transit and jobs), the conversations and politics around the subject engender a lot of misinformation and double talk.

@louismirante just introduced me to the term “wokewashing”. I think it’s a great term. One usage: “Cupertino et al. are wokewashing their NIMBY greed by chattering about 100% affordable housing w/o introducing multi-billion $ bonds/permitting.” -
