We have these up Polk street and cars routinely pull in through those gaps or block the entrance/exits dangerously. Encountered that 3x in under a mile last Saturday. That said, progress is progress. Here hoping raised/curb dividers is what’s “on the way”!

Polk is a joke. Report to 311. It’s the only way to get data to SFMTA.

Can you report it even if they're not parked? What category does it fall under? https://sf311.org/search

yep just take a pic and send it in (blocked bikelane is at the VERY bottom of the app options). They almost never send traffic control anyway...and at least they'll have the data on record.

Great thank you. Pic needs to include a readable license? Just prove it happened for them to log it?

Just location and category. No need for a readable plate.
@sfmta_muni is going to look at the data in 6-12 months to determine if more improvements are necessary. Blocked bike lane data is a key element.1 reply 0 retweets 7 likes -

Yeah I was slightly mistaken - choose “Blocked Driveway & Illegal Parking” and then under “Nature of Request” you can select “Blocked Bikelane (Info only).” Doesn’t require license / vehicle info to submit.pic.twitter.com/FHgh4jsJin

Can someone build an app that makes this the only option?

I want
@sfmta_muni to prioritize bike safety the way the do pedestrians. Blocked sidewalk is first choice on the app....they also need to prioritize sending officers out to ticket dangerous parking above all else.1 reply 0 retweets 5 likes -

The SF 311 app https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/sf311/id666635420?mt=8 … You can report bike lane violations, and it looks like this when it’s accepted into the city’s data:pic.twitter.com/PHGjwln1MY
