Yah, kind of weird that the big policy pushes for upzoning near transit have been exclusively focused on residential. I mean, you can live right over BART but if your office is five miles from a station, you're still gonna use the freeway for your commute.

I work near the Moffett Park VTA station and I can certify that a quadrillion sqft. of office space has gone up within a half mile of the station. It's not particularly walkable, but as the crow flies, this is true.

Is there a raw data on this? Or how they measure the distance (walking? Driving? Radius?) Cause I’m walking 0.5 miles in 10 mins to work, but technically half of the path is within another office building, but driving distance is like 25% more
