it's also not a general point. If you read the NYTimes, it specifically describes an economic change over the last generation where cities used to provide upward mobility to low-income workers and now they don't anymore.

What are options for what's in it for service workers? Clearly, one option on offer was all of the new Amazon employees spending money on restaurants, transport, entertainment, insurance, etc. But you clearly have something else in mind so am curious what?

Yes but how much of the extra economic activity makes it into workers’ pockets and will it offset the corresponding increase in housing prices?
