Should we revive slavery, because that was definitely an Enlightenment-era institution that existed during the late 17th to early 19th centuries that was intimately tied to the economies and generated the wealth of the West?

Yeah, it’s a good book. The word “slaves” itself originated from Slavs, but as the Portuguese navigated the African Coast in the 1400s, they shifted the slave supply from Eastern Europe to Africa and post-hoc rationalized it with racism and then it became widespread by 16/1700s
