Interesting, because the Corbynites definitely seem like the closest analogue (which is unsurprising given the close links between the US and UK). But when I talk to them, there are different emphases and a different feel. Hard to pin down. Anyway, you see what I'm saying.

Not just the liberal center-left, but from progressives who are *to the left* of the DSA on certain issues, or who have a different idea of what "left" means.

The prime example I'm thinking of is the California land use fight, where DSA people are often opposed to new construction, while other folks on the left like
@daguilarcanabal actually take a more radical stance. Diego can say more about that than I can.0 replies 0 retweets 12 likes -

In some California cities, this has even led to an effective alliance between the DSA and rich white landowners who don't want poor people living near them. It's kind of nuts. Non-DSA people on the left sort of look on in horror...

This description feels off. I think what I would say is that I’m probably more supportive of DSA leanings nationally rather than locally, since at the local level, you can’t control migration/Tiebout sorting/tax avoidance/capital movement as effectively.

That's good because the math ain't on Tiebout's side. You should call yourself a Bewleyist because he's the one who refuted Tiebout.
