Time to remind everyone again that @UofCalifornia had no tuition until voters passed Prop. 13 and cut property taxes. (Yes, a previous generation chose to indebt you so they could have overvalued houses.) https://twitter.com/kimmaicutler/status/1070204442966818817?s=21 … https://twitter.com/annehelen/status/1094259607780831232 …

Depends on when you bought. Also state rank 47 seems kind of indicative.pic.twitter.com/6VtQ9K6q8Z

it was free in the UC system and nearly free everywhere else. I paid $282/semester at Wash. State Uni back in the day (about $1800 today). You could earn enough to pay tuition with a summer job. Boomer’s main accomplishments have been to indenture students and monetize the poor!

this is more evidence of Boomers ripping off the younger generations. They got nearly free college education because of the sacrifice and vision of the WW2 generation and pulled up the ladder after themselves. All my profs were full-time profs, not adjuncts paid minimum wages.pic.twitter.com/V8Y6cnkH34
