There’s a spot called Barrel Republic in San Diego that opened in 2013. It’s always packed, has a good vibe and rep to it. One of the smart things they do with the bands they give you, is force you to check in with someone after a certain # of oz have been consumed.

Yea I’ve been to that one in Oceanside, I didn’t mind it. Probably works better with that market.

Eluthera Bahamas Diving-Centric hotel 1968 - self-pour bar - every bottle had sheet of colored sticky dots on it - pour yourself a drink, pull off dot, put it on small square of paper and write bungalow number and deposit in bar-box - drinks totaled up at chk-out...
