1. The problem when you have a few billionaires giving away millions is that the non-profits scratch each other’s eye out for the funding and start to not work well as a coalition. Also billionaires do not have the expertise yet sometimes dictate programs.

2. There is a place for it but it is essential for nonprofits to not rely only on big foundations.
