I would rather have a big quake happen in January than September. September would be teeeeerrible. Water would be cut off for months and the city would burn down.

Camping in your yard is so much nicer in September than January. My wife is from Northridge and 25 years ago today they began a 2 week camping adventure on their front lawn until inspectors passed their home as safe to enter.

Not sure about that.
@sfpuc recently completed (I think) a $5B rebuild and retrofit of the whole Hetch Hetchy conveyance system. If you are served by them you'll be OK. Not sure about the others though.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes
Alameda Co is telling people to store 25 gallons of water or so per household bc water might be cut off for months.
