enough to know labor organizers who have to navigate complicated tensions around service/nurses/teachers, or construction etc. and their relationship with the CCPOA, police, etc in CA. people who work in the private sector are allowed to comment on public policy issues, btw.

the article isn't *horrible* CA is the full extension of many of these ideas. We have weak private sector bargaining power & strong public sector power via California rule. It is demonstrably crowding out the ability of govt to spend on other priorities & the coming generation
