No moral argument for limited enrollment; more a consequence of the value of a campus-based education and the limits of growth in dense communities. Don't want to grow too quickly; often can't expand landholdings anyway. Hence the alternative effort: MOOCs

Any road-map from Stanford (or any other major Univ) on the MOOCs (or maybe just future of higher education in general)? Curious to see how that can be implemented for physical lab sciences. Univ extensions help but aren't really that scalable.
