Agreed. Mapping all of the various groups of people / non-people that participate in social media broken down by incentives might be helpful. Winning at social media for dopamine hits can be at the individual / economically passive level vs Page view / Ad economy vs spon. psy-ops

I like to ask people "what's was your intent?" It works well for me.

Sure, maybe in one on one conversations with real people. Less useful of a tactic when you're asking bots or sponsored entities. Even in the US, any LLC nesting doll that ends at a Wyoming-based LLC would make it difficult to ascertain who is even behind the intent.
