Sophia’s home base is irrelevant, as the women featured here are from all over the world. Many, many men and women love and appreciate the art of self expression through clothes. For women to disparage other women for enjoying fashion moves us backward—not forward.

And the suggestion that this discredits Pulitzer Prize-winning reporting is, frankly, absurd. Women can be strong, they can have a voice, they can speak out against wrongdoings. And, if they chose, they can care about fashion! One doesn’t negate the other. We contain multitudes!
