It is vitally important for tech companies to continue to expand to other states and cities. It will ease migration to California and help expand economic growth and political change to other states. Simply put, California can’t continue to absorb a large amount of people.

Defeat the NIMBYs politically. Cut air pollution by banning gas cars and investing heavily in transit and renewable energy. Build densely in compact city centers surrounded by fire breaks.

500K born, 200K die, and then slightly more international migrants move into CA as domestic migrants move out to other states. I think we still grow at net 300K per year.

Open up land use regulations and taxes to encourage multi-unit dwellings in suburban areas closer to city centers, and improve and expand the water reservoir and ducting system to feed the bigger populace. There are those waiting in line to build the solution.
