@WillOremus as a Belmont resident, please note: this project is *finally* off the ground because the current City Council is way friendlier to development than previous Councils... Belmont is putting $3-4m in impact fees toward this project -
that it collected - $60,000 per unit - from two market-rate condo projects along ECR. Belmont has 11,000 housing units and ~370 units in the pipeline, 100+ at BMR rates, which means - finally - the city is punching above its weight on housing
