Highly recommend the book Happy Cities if you’ve read it. Ironically cities where people commute the fastest intentionally design to minimize cars.

It is absolutely possible to retrofit cities and make them places for people (over cars). Let’s see sidewalks widened, automobile lanes reduced in number/narrowed, and install a connected network of protected lanes for people powered/e-assist vehicles (bikes/scooters/pedicabs)!
