I mean, if he wanted to be wrong and irresponsible this is what he would do. It’s basically the same as the disastrous federal policy for the last 40 years (even after the success of the EPA in the 70s showed how flawed this was)

You misread - government has a GREAT track record when not stymied by people who believe the ideas you’re pushing. The EPA is a wild success story. So too around the world governments have been the *only* factor helping. Left to your ideas we get how the GOP does it. It’s bad.

I was referring to education, infant mortality, feeding kids, etc. which I would point to 1) passage of Prop. 13 which destroyed the education funding base in CA, 2) lack of universal health care coverage in US and 3) welfare reform under Clinton to appeal to pt of Reagan’s base

These were all things done intentionally to shrink govt that ended up being less cost efficient for everyone and hurting really vulnerable populations.

Real estate/property markets and the state are inextricably linked. You have to have a governing system backed up by the use of force to credibly award a person or entity with a legal monopoly over a piece of land.

no it doesn't. The state only owns 2% of its forests. Almost half of the land is owned by private individuals and half of it is owned by the federal government.
