I don’t think it’s anyone’s fault except for the

Agreed with caveat that
@Benioff at least has been promoting his own words widely; I've gotten a number of ads for his Prop C tweets. That said, anyone is free to advertise their words. So at end of day, the media is running with the 'easy' story unfortunately, not the hard one. -

Also for good or ill the current debate isn’t exactly about helping the homeless it is more about a mechanism to fund that help (in a way that has direct funding vs subject to every city yearly budget cycles)
