Explain how we already have the highest gas tax, highest gas prices and poor roads?

probably because, compared to other states all of the revenue gain in gas taxes is wiped out in revenue loss due to Prop 13

Sadly I think the winning sentiment in CA is the one expressed in the official Daly City argument for their tax initiatives: "Who benefits? You do! Who pays? Not you!"

Change the winning sentiment. Don't accept the status quo. Push people further than they'd rather be pushed!

If I waste my whole paycheck on bubblegum, my boss doesn't give me another raise to pay the bills. We already pay extremely high gas taxes and registration fees for the roads and transportation.

Yes on 6! Sacramento has already taxed us to death. State leaders want more and more, and do less. Compared to other states, California is enormously slow and expensive in terms of road safety. Current state leadership is out of touch. Send a message--Yes on 6!
