With all due respect, the US receives more immigrants from Asia than most other regions & not all immigrants agree with your premise. Have you ever been to a Republican convention? Immigration from Asia was largely banned until Hart Cellar in 1965 under LBJ and afterward most were pre-filtered wrt to educational status.
