Let's share "blame" with some tech workers. I've lost count of dozens of multi-millionaires I've met who started out working a "BS job" at APPL, HP, ADBE, ORCL, INTL, etc. who became wealthy from basic stock options. After a few million, who wants to go to work for a BS corp job?

No, but the district covering that city has a virtual monopoly on K12 ed in that area. If the district is unable/unwilling to accommodate enrollment growth, over-crowding can result. It’s another effect (like sprawl) of that uniquely American institution, the “school district”.
