Think the median asking price is bad? The median *sold* price is even worse: $1.4M. That's right, of the 461 homes sold in the last 30 days, the median price is one point four million dollars. Me right now:pic.twitter.com/8RsW3EkWrb

The cheapest home for sale on the market that doesn't have strings attached (a BMR, a home for qualified seniors, etc) is a house in the Outer Mission. It's asking $450K. No interior pics, listing describes it as a "Contractors Special with lots of potential."pic.twitter.com/O5DJzpXgob

The most expensive home for sale in SF is a $29.5M mansion in Cow Hollow. It's been on the market for forever (I penned an article on it way back in 2013). TBH it's actually a real stunner. I've been inside and the Tiffany glass skylight is

Back to horrifying stats. The MLS defines SoMa as below Market Street and above I-80 between 3rd Street and the 101. Right now there are 52 homes for sale with a median list of $862K. However, based on the last 15 homes sold in the last 30 days, the median sold is $900K.
