When I attended UC Davis From 2003-2007 I met some students that told me 99/00 prices were like $800/ per quarter. I was paying average of $2500 per quarter during final year. My sister attend the new now. Says it $4000 per quarter now.

When I started at Cal in 2000, a family friend told me he dropped out from here in 1972 because he spent his tuition on a guitar. It wasn't a very nice guitar either. I was jealous on a couple levels.

My politics professor went to Berkeley for undergrad and said "Hm, I bet the textbooks you bought this semester cost more than my undergrad tuition." His tuition ~$850 a semester, our books $1000+
