This office is a longtime home of Charles Schwab, sign of the times?

Great point. And no sign of the winning Big Companies of today (Google, Apple, Facebook, and Amazon) about to stop winning. They are on fire in a way that Big Companies of the past never were.

It’s easy to be on fire when corporate taxes are cut and avoided. Also, profits are kept offshore and these tech giants have homogenized the cities and surrounding areas they took over. You’re celebrating as a white tech guy and it’s disgusting frankly.

Historically, SF companies were often the low performers in their sectors (PacBell, Chevron, PG&E, BofA). Wells and Schwab were unusual in being high performers.
