I didn’t like the ending conclusion that we just have to hope that this private company governing the speech of 2 billion+ people figures out all of these rules opaquely for us.

I don’t like media coverage that’s like “DO SOMETHING, FACEBOOK AND TWITTER BC VALUES!!!!” and takes the onus off citizens to discuss amongst themselves what speech norms should be and to push external, public institutions to move forward our standards amid technological change.
