Yep. Honestly, credit to them for even trying on this! It's one of the reasons I'm reluctant to see companies become overly political - you're immediately positioning a group of customers to completely hate you.

problem is they aren’t just “companies. they fundamentally order the public landscape, must consider scope of democratic impact. regulation risks being inept and overbroad, so next solution is private gov. accountable at least partially to externally negotiated values.
