I don’t disagree with any of this - I just think you don’t solve some injustices by brushing aside others. Can’t we care about both at the same time?

Maybe one can do both at once (by forming coalition with — rather opposing — other minorities that have been historically excluded from centers of American power) but maybe these advocacy groups are fixated on the small prize and the power structure that exists is happy for it.
