Brutally ironic, considering it's a company which mainly pays for its employee's meals by strongarming local restaurants for ad revenue.

Friends who worked as contractors at Facebook didn’t get the majority of FTE benefits but would eat 3 meals a day from the cafeterias to save $$.. and box things up for weekend

great perks accrue at the top (management, techies, owners etc) but at the bottom (majority of us) food, financial, housing, health, retirement, job insecurities, even in same company, are real and happening. Lets find solutions, people!

though how much of most of the big tech companies fall into this category? Doesn't Yelp standout for having call center folks on-site in SF vs. outsourced to a less expensive market? Interested if this data exists somewhere

Google and Netflix both have some call-center folks in the SFBA. As in "My second roommate was a CSR for both of them at one point or another".
