50. The city is a melting pot. God, this is so overwhelming true in the best way possible way. Coming from SF where there's a complete lack of diversity, especially when it comes to class, I have been thriving in this environment. More cities need to be inclusive like Los Angeles

55. Googie diners. Or just anything Googie, really. It's my favorite quirky architecture style (of which I have many, fwiw). 56. Spying the brilliant blue and gold sunburst pattern above the entrance of the Eastern Columbia Lofts. Easily my favorite building in DTLA. I am struck by its beauty every time I lay eyes on it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtGNa0LM-iw … (Also please someone buy me one of its penthouse lofts.)pic.twitter.com/8G5BigwbPg

58. Buying a novel from the Last Bookstore. Or buying dozens? I can't stop. Besides my office and home, I spend more time at this bookstore than anywhere else in Los Angeles (for now).pic.twitter.com/5Igr1ndH0y

61. Nestling into a corner of Downtown’s Central Library. Love this hulking mass so much that I have a tab open right now on volunteering opportunities. It's such a treasure.

84. Seeing the Griffith Observatory lit up at night. Often I'll just be walking down the street and will spot this out of the corner of my eye. it takes my breath away each time. How did I get so lucky?

86. Midcentury modern. This is, unfortunately for you, a subject I am annoyingly knowledgable about. Get ready for me to bore you at dinner parties.

91. Trekking through Griffith Park, knowing P-22 is probably napping close by. I got two blocks in to Griffith Park today before my Bay Area ass couldn't take the heat. Really looking forward to my first P-22 spotting though.
