That’s both interesting and surprising. I was referring to the US. I assume Singapore takes care of public housing well given how they keep the city clean. I see no evidence that SF can do public housing well or keeping a city clean.

Met a couple from Singapore who said while big % of housing is provided by government, it’s about context. Socialist Gov in city-state that controls all key factors of life with very strict laws. Opposite of SF or Cal, for that matter.
